This trip started off with Nick sleeping in and missing the flight (see photo of John calling him while boarding the plane)! After getting to the AirBnB and having some beers at a local establishment called the Roanoke Inn Nick finally made it and gave everyone this year's gift: a STC blanket! We did a cool hike to the bottom of Snoqualmie Falls, hit the famous Farmer's Market in Seattle, had a crummy lunch there, and saw some of the sights (Gum Wall, Selfie Museum, and Elysian Brewery). We went to the Huskies/Utah game Saturday and had the unfortunate occurrence to witness some guy retrieve car keys from a Porta Potty. Sunday was a great game between the Seahawks and the Commanders. With Seattle in the lead by 7 in the 4th quarter, the Commanders tied it up with 8:00 minutes left. Seattle scored with just under 4:00 minutes left, but the Commanders rallied and tied it up again with less than a minute to go! The Seahawks drove down the field and with 1 second left on the clock Jason Myers converted a 43 yard field goal for the Seahawks win! What an exciting game and a fun trip!

We had a great time in Baltimore AND down in Texas! STC weekend started early this year when John, Nick and Mike went to M&T Bank Stadium for a tour then on to Faidley's Seafood for some awesome crab cakes! On game day we went to the BMORE tailgate which had all you can eat and drink, live music, corn hole, folks on stilts, and fire performers. We walked over to the stadium and watched an incredible game! The Ravens scored a go-ahead TD with less than 2 minutes left. The Bengals drove down the field and Joe Burrow connected with Ja'Marr Chase on a 5 yard pass with 38 seconds left. But the Bengals went for the win instead of the tie and failed to convert the 2 pointer! Friday morning we flew down to Austin and hit the bars on 6th Street and Rainey Street for beers and live music. Childhood friend and Texas resident Chris met the guys for a Mexican food one night and pizza the next. We had a great tailgate at the UT vs Florida game Saturday morning and met the new/younger version of the STC! Sunday morning we drove down to Houston, stopped at St. Arnold Brewery which was fantastic, then continued on to NRG Stadium for the Sunday night matchup between the Texans and the Lions. A low budget tailgate of chili and St. Arnold beers was fun. Nick scored the group tickets in the club level which was sweet! And despite Jared Goff's 5 interceptions, the Lions pulled out a win with Jake Bates' last second 52 yard field goal! It was an incredible weekend of football and friendship!
